Afnan 9PM Night Out

9 PM Night Out by Afnan is a unisex extrait de parfum that combines fruity, spicy and ambery tonalities. The opening blends an unusual dragon fruit note with bergamot, cognac, lavender and apple, creating a contrast between bright freshness, soft aromatic facets and a liqueur-like nuance. The heart introduces cardamom alongside Mahonial, suede, toffee and cedar, moving the composition toward a warmer, sweeter and slightly leathery character. In the base, tonka bean, Akigalawood, Ambrofix and patchouli add depth and persistence, with woody, resinous and lightly gourmand impressions. Overall, the fragrance presents a modern, evening-leaning profile that balances fruit, spice and amber notes without being tied to a specific gender.

My personal favorite from the 9PM line and arguably Afnan period, but many have different interpretations of the notes so it is worth buying the decant before a bottle commitment, this is not a dupe of any fragrance in particular, and is an incredibly sweet and floral dragon fruit along with apple and bergamot for aromatic, fruity, fresh vibes, and cognac, toffee, and woods for smoothing out the scent, adding depth and gourmandness. To me, this scent largely focuses on the sweet dragonfruit and even falls slightly tropical and playful, a beauty of a scent wearable anytime, may be a bit heavy in summer though.
